Our 49th annual Food Drive is off to a great start! So far we have raised nearly $4,000. As we continue working toward our goal of raising $20,000, we wanted to share important information with everyone. Here is the link to contribute money online to help us reach our target. For those new to the event, this is our 49th Annual Drive. Over the years, we have grown from 25 families getting only canned food to over 200 families getting cans, produce, fresh dairy and gifts. Since the pandemic, our community’s need has only increased. On Delivery Day, students, staff, and volunteers begin the work bright and early, preparing all donated and Costco goods for drivers. Drivers then deliver the gifts to each of the designated families’ homes. Any remaining items are donated to local community food banks and our own Mount Hebron year-long pantry. This effort is possible with the help and contributions of everyone, and we greatly appreciate your support!
Important Dates
Wednesday, December 20th is the scheduled Delivery Day.
While all cans are accepted, to prevent infestation in our storage pantry and to target most desired foods, our collection is focusing on different items each week:
12/4 - 12/8 → Peanut butter, jelly, and pasta sauce
12/11 - 12/15 → Rice, bags of beans, and pasta
