Mu Alpha Theta WE WILL BE ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FROM NOVEMER 19TH THROUGH DECEMBER 7TH.
The eligibility requirements are:
10th-12th grade student
Completed courses through Algebra II and currently enrolled in an advanced math course (Math Analysis, Trigonometry, Calculus GT, Calculus AB AP, Calculus BC AP, Discrete GT, Statistics AP, Pre-Calculus GT)
Unrounded, weighted GPA of 3.5 or above across all high school math courses
Unrounded, weighted GPA of 3.4 of higher overall
2 completed teacher recommendation forms with an overall average of 3.5 or higher
You must complete the following application and provide two teacher recommendation forms before December 7th.
There is also a set of expectations for students inducted into the Math National Honor Society. They are:
Inductees must complete 12 service/math hours per semester
Attend monthly mandatory meetings
Maintain code of conduct and meet requirements listed in Mu Alpha Theta Constitution and the HCPSS.

The Mount Hebron Chapter of the National Honor Society is an organization promoting appropriate recognition for outstanding juniors and seniors. The purpose of the National Honor Society is to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service to the school and community, to promote leadership, and to encourage the development of character in the students at Mount Hebron High School. The National English Honor Society (NEHS) is a high school honor society devoted to recognizing student achievement and merits in the various fields of English.
