Graduation Cap & Gown Orders (Deadline - February 1, 2026):
- EVERYONE must have a cap, gown (black and gold), and tassel. This is available in a package online. Cost is $42 (before tax).
- You may use an older sibling’s gown from previous years, but it MUST be the custom black and gold.
- Purchasing a Tassel alone is $14.
- For cap/gown/tassel unit, order through www.jostens.com by February 1st.
- Cap and Gowns are shipped to the school in the spring.
Senior Photos (February 9 - 10, 2026): We still have over 100 seniors who need to be photographed for the yearbook! Graduation Speaker Auditions (Deadline - February 6, 2026): Attention all seniors! Are you interested in speaking at graduation? If so, please fill out the Graduation Speech Google Form. Prom Information: The senior/junior prom will be held this year at Maryland Live in Hanover, MD on Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 7:30 - 10:30pm. All tickets sale dates will be announced in February.
Name Pronunciation: We encourage all seniors to use the name pronunciation feature in Synergy to assist the graduation name readers. This can be done using the following instructions. Open your StudentVue app. Next to your name/picture you should see a sound icon (
). Click on the icon and record your name pronunciation.
Graduation Date and Senior Activities: Howard County Public Schools has not announced a date for senior graduation at this time. Once a date has been announced, the school will share through school messenger. Additionally, a calendar of senior events and activities will be shared once the graduation date is finalized.
