HEBRON HAPPENINGS:

  • ATTENTION SENIORS:
    • Turn in your Diploma Signature Forms to Mrs. Mathias in Student Services ASAP
  • PROM – Saturday, April 29th 8pm-12am @ Hunt Valley Inn ($65 a ticket).  Online sales start Monday, April 3rd through Monday, April 24th.  Physical tickets from online sales or cash/check sales can be picked up Monday, April 18-24th during ALL lunch shifts and during Viking time on April 19th in room 155
    • After Prom – Sunday, April 30th 12:30am-4am @ the Ellicott City YMCA  
    • After Prom Tickets go on sale April 24-28 during ALL lunch shifts – Tickets are $10.  This year, the PTSA has chartered 3 buses to drive students from Prom to After Prom – a limited number of tickets for the bus will be available first-come-first-served – bus tickets are $5 and will also be sold the week of After-Prom ticket sales
  • AP registration CLOSED on Friday, 3/24.  Registrations submitted this week are assessed a $25 late fee.  Please be sure to include the fee in your check or money order.  You must submit a printed copy of your Naviance survey for your registration to be finalized.  After Friday @ 2:30pm, the late fee increases to $50 per exam.
  • Students who use the Media Center during lunches & After-School are to sign in on the computers at the Media Center Front Desk.  See Dr. Neugebauer with any questions.
  • Freshman Class Board Volleyball Tournament - Thursday, April 20th.  Sign–ups will be available after school on Tuesdays – winners will receive a Pizza Lunch!
  • College Visit Dates – Juniors & Seniors Sign up for visits in Naviance – See your counselor if you have any questions.
  • 2017 Yearbook - Don't forget!  Yearbooks are on sale.  Ordering is simple.  You can place your Yearbook order online by going to the Mt. Hebron website and clicking on the Student Life drop down.  http://mhhs.hcpss.org/

  • Students who need help getting on Canvas, see Ms. Richter in the Media Center
  • The Howard County Police Department will be hosting a free, one week overnight Youth Police Academy, July 16th – 21st at the Public Safety Training Center.  It is for students between the ages of 15918 years old who are interested in a law enforcement career.  The Youth Police Academy replicates the actual Howard County Police Academy.  This experience is designed to help students explore career and leadership opportunities, life skills, and character education.  Students will participate in role playing, practical exercises and physical training.  For more information, contact your School Resource Officer or check out the Howard County Police Department website @ www.hcpd.org under Youth Programs.

    • Rho Kappa Members: there will be a meeting of the Social Studies Honor Society after school in room 110 -  please be prompt and be sure to bring your dues
    • Best Buddies 3rd Annual Movie Night – “Finding Dory” in the auditorium – Tickets are $5 – Doors open @ 6pm, Movie begins @ 6:15 – Concession stand available – bring your friends and support best buddies!
    • Attention All Spring Sports Team Captains – hand in your Captains Course Certificate to Ms. Prevosto by next Friday, April 7th
  • Saturday, 4/1:
    • Oyster Gardening Club – meet @ the school at 12:45pm and will leave @ 1pm – bring work gloves and boots
  • Sunday, 4/2:
    • Girls Softball Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser @ Glory Days – 7:30am to 10:30am.  Tickets are $10 for all you can eat pancakes, sausage and beverages.  See Mr. Gibbons in room 147 or any girls softball player
  • Monday, 4/3:
    • Millionaire’s Club Meeting after school in room 145 - All should attend.  The Stock Market game ends on Friday, 4/7 so bring your team and work on your stock portfolios.  Also, if you will be attending the Personal Finance Challenge on Tuesday, April 4th,  stop by Ms. Bechta’s room (145) to turn in both permission slips.
