May 31, 2018

  • Independent Research is having  a pizza sale in the lobby today after school.  Pizza slice - $2.00.
  • There will be a meeting for all rising senior members of the National English Honor Society today after school in room 234.  We will hold elections and make plans for next year.  The meeting will start immediately after dismissal.
  • Auditions for the Lancer Drill team will to next Wednesday, June 6 - Friday, June 8 from 5:30 - 8:00 pm.  Meet in room 136 to start. 
    • All days are suggested for your best chance.
    • We are looking for dancers for Fall Marching and Spring competition season.  Do one or both?

May 25th, 2018

  • Morning ARL will go on Tuesday, May 29, and will return by their normal time of 9:15.  They will be here in time for dismissal at 9:45.

May 24, 2018

  • Attention Thespians!
    • Auditions for the first Viking Studio production, The Fantasticks are next week.  Directors seek a cast of 10 (nine players and one swing) for this small cast musical.
    • Acting and Singing auditions are Wednesday, May 30, and Thursday, May 31 from 2:45 - 5:00 pm, with callbacks on Friday, June 1.
    • Register at the google form listed on the flyer.
    • Performers will receive a script and music June 15 and be expected to be off book for rehearsals starting August 1st. 
    • Performers must be available September 27 - 29th.  All Thespians and Theatre 2 students are eligible to audition.

May 21, 2018

  • Let's fill the FAN bus and support the Girls lacrosse team as they play Westminster for the 3-A State Championship Thursday, May 24.  Sign ups will be Monday, May 21 during all lunch shifts.  Parent permission slips are due Tuesday, May 22.  Bus ride is FREE.  Admission to Stevenson University stadium is $10.00.  See Ms. Prevosto for more details.

  • The Millionaire's Club will hold their final meeting on Tuesday, May 22 at 2:15 in room 145.  This meeting will be a celebration of the club's success and Mr. Kyle Swisher, President of the Credit Union Foundation will present the club with the Millionaire's Club of the Year trophy.  We hope everyone can make it!

  • The last Best Buddies meeting of the year will be tomorrow afternoon, Thursday, in the cafeteria.
  • All student-athletes not participating in the track and field regionals or state championships need to return uniforms ASAP to Ms. Carter.

  • There will a MANDATORY football meeting at 2:15 today in the weight room for all students interested in playing football this fall.
  • The Black Student Union, known as BSU, is hosting a pizza and dessert fundraiser this Tuesday, May 15, and Thursday, May 17, at dismissal in the front lobby.  Get our BSU deal, 2 slices and a soda for $4.00.!
  • The next Oyster Gardening will be Saturday, May 19.  Leave Hebron at 1 and bring gloves.  Please remember to sign up on the google doc.
  • Juniors - want helpful hints on how to be admitted to your dream college?  Attend College Night on Wednesday, June 6 at 6 pm in the auditorium.  College representatives from multiple schools will be presenting as well as information on financial aid and scholarships.  You won't want to miss it!

  • Attention all SGA Candidates:  Please remember completed SGA Self-nomination forms are due to Ms. Sugg this Thursday, May 3.  There will be a mandatory meeting for SGA candidates on Thursday, May 3 at 2:15.  Please see Ms. Sugg if you have any questions.
  • The Spring dance concert is Thursday, May 3rd and Friday, May 4th at 7 pm in the auditorium.  The concert features all dance classes including the Jr. Company and Dance Company with special guest performances by the Break Dance club and South Asian club.  Tickets are $10 and may be purchased during all lunch shifts or at the door.  We hope to see you there!
  • Juniors and Seniors who were absent for the World of Work Interviews will be receiving an appointment pass today, Tuesday, for the make up interview times.  All make-ups will be  held in Student Services on Thursday, May 3.  See Ms. Marton if you have any questions.
  • Active Minds is having a bake sale this Wednesday and Thursday in the main lobby right after school.
  • The Oyster Gardening Club will be meeting this Saturday, May 5, to go check the oyster cages.  Meet at Mt. Hebron at 12:45 and leave at 1.  Bring work gloves.
  • Attention Seniors!  Class night is May 15th.  Come to historic Savage Mill for a night filled with food, dancing, and $1000 worth of prizes.  Tickets are on sale online NOW for $20.  Ticket pick up is after school Wednesday, May 2nd through Tuesday, May 8th in Ms. Baylor's room 155.  Tickets can also be picked up during lunch shifts Monday, May 7th and Tuesday, May 8th in the cafeteria.  Even if you purchase your ticket online, you must come pick up a physical ticket to be admitted.  No tickets will be sold after May 8th due to restrictions from the caterer.
