We are proud to share that one of our students, Mallaika Majid, received a TEDx talk license and we need students to help organize this incredible event. Please read Mallaika's statement below:
Mt. Hebron High School is hosting a TEDx talk and is in need of volunteers with certain skills to help out. The event will take place during the school day on Thursday, November 2, 2017 and will feature speakers from around the community. We are looking for experienced and more importantly, committed individuals who are able to attend all planning meetings and work efficiently within a group.

SGA's annual Back to School Dance
The Hebron Hula, is Saturday, September 9, from 7 - 10 pm.  Tickets are only $5.  This dance is for all students, grades 9 - 12.  Tickets will be on sale during all lunch shifts starting the first day of school, Tuesday, September 5, and will continue that week through Friday, September 8.  See you at the Hebron Hula!
Update Your Family File Information Before School Begins!
HCPSS uses Family File for parents/guardians to complete emergency information. Parents/guardians must verify and/or update information for each child, and can do so by logging in to HCPSS Connect and selecting the Family File tab and then clicking on Family File.
Once logged in, parents/guardians will be asked to provide or update the following information:

  • Student information
  • Parent/guardian contact
  • Emergency contacts
  • Medical information
  • Arrival/dismissal procedures
  • Media release (photo approval)
  • Data confidentiality
  • PTA/PTSA directory

Changes of address may not be made through Family File. If you have recently moved, please contact your child’s school as soon as possible.
For students who are bus riders, please note that bus numbers and routes shown in Family File may be subject to change. Please check the school and bus locator on the HCPSS website after August 16.
Resources on how to access Family File may be found online. Parents who have forgotten their login credentials may click the “Forgot Password” link on the sign in page. If you need additional assistance, please fill out this Connect Help Form.

Parking Permit Information
Mount Hebron High School will issue parking permit to eligible seniors.  Seniors are required to attend a Safe Driving Presentation with a parent/guardian.   Any senior who has a driver’s license and anticipates driving to school during the school year, you are strongly encouraged to attend one of these Safe Driving Presentations.  PARKING PERMITS DO SELLOUT & ARE SOLD ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS.
All parents/guardians, have a key role in their child’s safety, and will be required to attend the meeting with their child.  Please note:  an application for the parking permit will not be issued unless the student and a parent/ guardian are in attendance together.  No exceptions will be made to this county initiative.
The ONLY meeting dates and times at Mount Hebron High School are:

Wednesday, August 23rd at 6:00 pm
Thursday, August 31st at 6:00 pm

No one will be admitted after 6:00 pm.  Students and parents/guardians must be present for the entire presentation.  There will be other Safe Driving Presentations at other High Schools and as we become aware of them, we will advertise them on the HCPSS alerts, or you can find them on the HCPSS website.


In addition to attending a Safe Driving Presentation you must complete a Parking Permit Application. The applications are available immediately after the presentation.   As a reminder, you will not be given a parking permit if you have any outstanding obligations. 

Parking Permit Applications must be completed in order to obtain a parking permit.  Signing the Parking Permit Application indicates your understanding of the MHHS Vehicle Registration and Parking Agreement.
Juniors are encouraged to attend the Safe Driving Presentation but are not guaranteed a parking space.
