HEBRON HAPPENINGS:

  • Attention Juniors: If you are interested in working with students as a lab assistant or with a teacher as their aide, see your counselor for an application.  ALL applications are due by June 14th
  • HCYP is looking for six high school students to work as basketball coaches on Friday nights beginning April 21 thru June 9.  Hours would be 6pm to 10pm.  If interested, see Ms. Prevosto – great way to earn a little money.
  • Students who do not have a parking permit are not allowed to park on school grounds!
  • Students who use the Media Center during lunches & After-School are to sign in on the computers at the Media Center Front Desk.  See Dr. Neugebauer with any questions.
  • College Visit Dates – Juniors & Seniors Sign up for visits in Naviance – See your counselor if you have any questions.
  • 2017 Yearbook - Don't forget!  Yearbooks are on sale.  Ordering is simple.  You can place your Yearbook order online by going to the Mt. Hebron website and clicking on the Student Life drop down.  http://mhhs.hcpss.org/

  • Students who need help getting on Canvas, see Ms. Richter in the Media Center
  • The Howard County Police Department will be hosting a free, one week overnight Youth Police Academy, July 16th – 21st at the Public Safety Training Center.  It is for students between the ages of 15918 years old who are interested in a law enforcement career.  The Youth Police Academy replicates the actual Howard County Police Academy.  This experience is designed to help students explore career and leadership opportunities, life skills, and character education.  Students will participate in role playing, practical exercises and physical training.  For more information, contact your School Resource Officer or check out the Howard County Police Department website @ www.hcpd.org under Youth Programs.

ATTENTION SENIORS:

  • Cap & Gowns were distributed on Tuesday, 4/18 – See Ms. Vitali (rm235) or Mrs. Fulchino (rm 227) with any Graduation questions
  • Graduation Information Packets were distributed to Seniors on Thursday, 4/20
  • Turn in your Diploma Signature Forms to Mrs. Mathias in Student Services ASAP
  • Class Picnic tickets are on sale from Mr. Murach, room 204 and Ms. Vitali, room 235.  Picnic tickets are $10 - You can also purchase online and pick the tickets up from Murach and/or Vitali

    • Double 6 Period Today for ALL students - NO 5th Period today!
    • Voter Registration for Seniors and students who are 16 – in the Cafeteria during ALL lunch shifts – Must be a U.S. Citizen – Must have a driver’s license or driver’s permit or last four digits of social security number - Forms for registration are available in the front office
    • ALL members of the National English Honor Society who have not submitted their dues are reminded to see Mrs. Shannon Davis in room 234 to take care of this.  Senior members are reminded that this is the last week to submit dues and hours sheets to receive graduation cords.  Junior members are reminded that there will be a meeting on May 16 after school for the election on new officers and planning for next year
    • NAHS (National Art Honor Society) Mandatory Meeting for ALL members – hearing and electing officers for the 2017-2018 school year
    • SWAGG – Last meeting with seniors after school in room 150 – discussing plans for next school year and consuming food
    • Art Show Reception tonight from 5 to 7pm in the art department area.  Everyone is invited and refreshments will be served
