    • Turn in your Diploma Signature Forms to Mrs. Mathias in Student Services ASAP
  • Follow After-Prom on Twitter at #mhhsafterprom.  When we hit 200 followers we will start the giveaways – flowers, manicures, haircuts, spray tans and more! 
  • PROM – Saturday, April 29th 8pm-12am @ Hunt Valley Inn ($65 a ticket).  Online sales start Monday, April 3rd through Monday, April 24th.  Physical tickets from online sales or cash/check sales can be picked up Monday, April 18-24th during ALL lunch shifts and during Viking time on April 19th in room 155
  • After Prom – Sunday, April 30th 12:30am-4am @ the Ellicott City YMCA  
  • After Prom Tickets go on sale April 24-28 during ALL lunch shifts – Tickets are $10.  This year, the PTSA has chartered 3 buses to drive students from Prom to After Prom – a limited number of tickets for the bus will be available first-come-first-served – bus tickets are $5 and will also be sold the week of After-Prom ticket sales
  • HCYP is looking for six high school students to work as basketball coaches on Friday nights beginning April 21 thru June 9.  Hours would be 6pm to 10pm.  If interested, see Ms. Prevosto – great way to earn a little money.
  • Students who do not have a parking permit are not allowed to park on school grounds!
  • Students who use the Media Center during lunches & After-School are to sign in on the computers at the Media Center Front Desk.  See Dr. Neugebauer with any questions.
  • Freshman Class Board Volleyball Tournament - Thursday, April 20th.  Sign–ups will be available after school on Tuesdays – winners will receive a Pizza Lunch!
  • College Visit Dates – Juniors & Seniors Sign up for visits in Naviance – See your counselor if you have any questions.
  • 2017 Yearbook - Don't forget!  Yearbooks are on sale.  Ordering is simple.  You can place your Yearbook order online by going to the Mt. Hebron website and clicking on the Student Life drop down.  http://mhhs.hcpss.org/

  • Students who need help getting on Canvas, see Ms. Richter in the Media Center
  • The Howard County Police Department will be hosting a free, one week overnight Youth Police Academy, July 16th – 21st at the Public Safety Training Center.  It is for students between the ages of 15918 years old who are interested in a law enforcement career.  The Youth Police Academy replicates the actual Howard County Police Academy.  This experience is designed to help students explore career and leadership opportunities, life skills, and character education.  Students will participate in role playing, practical exercises and physical training.  For more information, contact your School Resource Officer or check out the Howard County Police Department website @ www.hcpd.org under Youth Programs.


  • Wednesday, 4/19:
    • Key Club meeting during Viking Time in Student Services
    • Prom Tickets can be purchased today during Viking Time in room 155
    • Prom tickets can be purchased in the cafeteria during ALL lunch shifts.  Tickets can also be purchased Online @ the Hebron website.  Tickets are $65 each.
    • National English Honor Society meeting after school in room 234.  Discussing dues, new officer elections, service hours, and planning for next year.
    • Broadway Connections performs Three Nights to the Big City this afternoon.  All cast members and prop hands are asked to report to the auditorium at 2:00 pm.  Show times are 3 and 5:30pm
    • Best Buddies meeting after school in room 136.  Brief meeting and then will attend the Broadway Connections play in the auditorium
  • Thursday, 4/20:
    • Volleyball Tournament – tickets are $3 – see Ms. Kang in room 232
    • Hebron Swimmers: make sure you sign up for the swim meet by TODAY if you want to participate in the county swim meet on Sunday, 4/30.  Meet entries are due no later than Friday, 4/21 – we need to know who is participating.  Please see Kayla Snyder or Ms. Maerten and be sure to look for information in your emails.
    • Interested in the Environment?  Attend the Howard County Environmental Symposium today @ River Hill High School from 6-8:30pm to hear from keynote speakers, like the United Nations Science Director, and learn about volunteer and internship opportunities from environmental organizations such as the Sierra Club.  Be sure to RSVP and learn more about the conference on the website:  hocoenvirosymp.weebly.com   - Flyers have also been distributed throughout the school.
    • Student groups and individuals that are participating in One Hebron Day Culture Fest and/or dropping presentation boards or games off are asked to see Mrs. Odom after school in room 149 to make sure you know when your group is performing or where to leave your information board or game.
  • Friday, 4/21:
    • Senior bios are due TODAY to Mrs. Goodwin in room 227
    • Swim Meet entries are due no later than TODAY – we need to know who is participating.  Please see Kayla Snyder or Ms. Maerten and be sure to look for information in your emails.
    • It’s Academic Club meeting after school in room 101
  • Saturday, 4/22:
    • Oyster Gardening Club meeting at the school at 12:45 and leaving at 1:00pm.  Bring work gloves and boots
    • One Hebron Day – Culture Fest from 4-7pm.  Food, dancing, games and henna.  Join us for an afternoon of things that make Hebron great.
  • Monday, 4/24:

  • Wednesday, 4/26:
    • All students who registered for an AP exam are required to attend one of the pre-administration sessions.  First session today from 2:15-5:00pm.   Second Session Thursday, 4/27, 2:15-5:00pm.   Students must plan to come for 30 minutes at any point during the session.  See Dr. Kiehl in room 109 with questions.
