HEBRON HAPPENINGS:

  • ATTENTION SENIORS – GRADUATION IS MAY 22ND @ 5PM
  • MATH PI DAY WAS TUESDAY, 3/14 – DUE TO THE SNOWSTORM, WE ARE STILL COLLECTING PI DAY DONATIONS THE REST OF THIS WEEK.  WE ARE RAISING MONEY FOR GRASSROOTS CRISIS INTERVENTION CENTER, HOWARD COUNTY’S ONLY 24-HOUR CRISIS CENTER AND HOMELESS SHELTER.  PLEASE CONSIDER DONATING $3.14 OR MORE TO HELP US IN OUR GOAL TO RAISE $2,199 WHICH IS THE AMOUNT TO FULLY STAFF THE  GRASSROOTS CRISIS LINE
  • Spring Musical – West Side Story – Show dates are: 3/17, 3/18, 3/23, 3/24, 2/25 @ 7PM, $10 – Tickets are on sale in the cafeteria during ALL lunch shifts.
  • Students who use the Media Center during lunches & After-School are to sign in on the computers at the Media Center Front Desk.  See Dr. Neugebauer with any questions.
  • AP registration bulletins were distributed to students last week.  If you did not receive a bulletin, please see Dr. Kiehl in room 109.  Registration opens on March 1st and the most up-to-date information regarding registration can be found on Naviance and the school’s website.
  • Freshman Class Board Volleyball Tournament - Thursday, April 20th.  Sign–ups will be available after school on Tuesdays – winners will receive a Pizza Lunch!
  • College Visit Dates – Juniors & Seniors Sign up for visits in Naviance – See your counselor if you have any questions.
  • Attention Seniors:  turn in your Diploma Signature Forms to Mrs. Mathias in Student Services ASAP
  • 2017 Yearbook - Don't forget!  Yearbooks are on sale.  Ordering is simple.  You can place your Yearbook order online by going to the Mt. Hebron website and clicking on the Student Life drop down.  http://mhhs.hcpss.org/

  • Students who need help getting on Canvas, see Ms. Richter in the Media Center
  • The Howard County Police Department will be hosting a free, one week overnight Youth Police Academy, July 16th – 21st at the Public Safety Training Center.  It is for students between the ages of 15918 years old who are interested in a law enforcement career.  The Youth Police Academy replicates the actual Howard County Police Academy.  This experience is designed to help students explore career and leadership opportunities, life skills, and character education.  Students will participate in role playing, practical exercises and physical training.  For more information, contact your School Resource Officer or check out the Howard County Police Department website @ www.hcpd.org under Youth Programs.

  • Thursday, 3/16:
    • Students interested in helping with Culture Fest in April can meet in room 149 (Mrs. Odom) after school
    • National Art Honor Society meeting after school in room 121 – bring your signed field trip permission slips
  • Saturday, 3/18:
    • Oyster Gardening Club – meeting at the school @ 12:45, leaving the school @ 1:00PM.  Bring work gloves.  Sign-ups will begin on Tuesday, 3/14
  • Wednesday, 3/22:
    • National Technology Honor Society Elections will occur during Viking Time today
